House to Home Relocation was a Godsend. In March 2012, my Mom received notice that the senior living facility she resided in was closing on April 15, 2012. We went into panic mode. The facility she was in had a meeting for the family of the residents which my brother and I attended.

There were many local businesses in attendance you could speak with concerning relocation or assistance with moving.  My brother and I struck up a conversation with House to Home Relocation owner Jay and immediately I felt that everything was going to okay. He stated his son lives in Richmond, Virginia, where our family is originally from and there was a unique connection.  About a week later, I called and spoke with his wife Barbara.  Her understanding and caring approach again reconfirmed the sense of everything is going to be okay.

We arranged a meeting between my Mom and myself and Barbara and Jay. It went great and their professionalism and attentiveness was more than we could have expected.  We knew they were going to help us and really cared about doing the best job they could. They even helped sell a washer and dryer that my mom had.  Packing Day and Moving Day went wonderful-again putting us at ease. The staff Barbara and Jay have are wonderful as well and use the same approach of caring for your personal items as if they were their own. Even the movers they arranged to use were professional and courteous.

What I thought was going to be a nightmare, turn out to be a great experience and we are so glad that Barbara and Jay came into our lives when they did.  We would highly recommend them for assistance in moving a loved one or any of their other services they offer.  They definitely go above and beyond and treat you as a member of their family.

We have referred House to Home Relocation services to our customers for several years. They have helped a number of our residents sort through a houseful of treasures, to select those that will be the most meaningful, useful and decorative in their new home here at Bon Secours Place St. Petersburg. They brought in high caliber help and assured that the people used would safeguard any items of value that had to be moved. I cannot thank Barbara and Jay for their compassionate, accommodating, and efficient help, all while understanding the sense of urgency for this assignment. Each resident had a detailed inventory report and the location that items were placed, so that they could find what they needed and decrease stress for them. Of course, I will be using their services when we have to reverse the process for the move back! I do not know how I could have made this happen alone. Barbara and Jay helped me to steer a steady course through some choppy water! Gratitude is hardly enough.
