Countryside Library to Host Series on Life Transitions CLEARWATER, Fla. - The Countryside Library, 2741 S.R. 580 at Countryside Boulevard, will host three seminars on Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. in May for older adults facing major life changes.
The seminars include:
May 15: Creating a Safe and Enriching Environment at Home Gain tools from experts to care for a loved one with dementia, and understand when it’s time to relocate the patient for better professional care. Panel speakers include Cate McCarty, Ph.D. (The Dementia Coach); Mary Kaplan L.C.S.W., A.C.S.W.; and Barbara Marshall (Owner of House to Home Relocation.)
May 22: Organizing Your Lifetime Accumulation of Treasures Learn how to organize your home and prepare to sell or donate your treasures when you’re ready to downsize your home. Led by Barbara Marshall (House to Home Relocation) and Susan Gahan (Estate Sales by Susan.)
May 29: Working Through Grief Carol McCleod, Certified Grief Counselor, discusses how to cope with the loss of a loved one and strategies for handling grief.
